  70. of solving and constructing acrostic puzzles exactly like the ones found
  71. in the daily or Sunday newspapers to the Microsoft Windows environment,
  72. and has added plenty of powerful and exciting features.

  74. You may use Enigmacross for up to 30 days. If you like the program, and
  75. wish to continue its use after this evaluation period, you are required
  76. to pay for the program (see on-line help for more details).  Any fee you

  108. ===== Installation =====================================

  110. The installation procedure for Enigmacross is quite simple.  The
  111. package includes a program, "SETUP.EXE", which automates the
  112. entire process. You will need about 750K of available disk space
  113. on the hard drive on which you plan to install Enigmacross.
  114.  
  115. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received
  116. Enigmacross.
  117.

  119. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  120.  
  121. To install from diskette(s), you need to perform the following steps.
  122.  
  123.    o  Place the Enigmacross distribution diskette in the appropriate
  124.       diskette drive.
  125.  
  126.    o  From the Windows Main Menu, select FILE, then select RUN. In the
  127.       Command Line box, type the drive letter containing the distribution
  128.       disk followed by "SETUP.EXE." For example, if the distribution
  129.       diskette is on drive A:, type the command, "A:SETUP."
  130.  
  131.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program.
  132.       You will have a chance to approve installation before any changes
  133.       are actually made to the contents of your hard drive.  The
  134.       program will ask you for a destination directory, and will copy
  135.       the Enigmacross files to that directory.

  137. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE

  139. If you downloaded Enigmacross from a BBS (or received it in the form of
  140. archive files from some other source), you will need to perform the
  141. following steps.

  143.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file(s) in a temporary
  144.       directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this
  145.       varies, depending on the form in which you received the package.
  146.       In all likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text means
  147.       that you already have the necessary tools and knowledge to
  148.       perform this step.  If not, you should be able to obtain
  149.       directions for this from the same source from which you received
  150.       the package.
